I'm not the biggest Stones fan in the world but I have trouble listening to songs like "Sympathy for the Devil", "Gimme Shelter", You Can't Always Get What You want" and "Wild Horses" (to name a few) and think they are the work of an average blues band. It's just a nonsense notion probably just kept to yourself should you have it at all.
