I think what was especially cool about this album is what you reference. It was symphonic and beautiful but deeply haunting as well. And yet inside that enclosed space of Climbing up the Walls or Exit Music I'm completely ensconced in a sense of calm and joy. Add to that the fact that I could listen to Johnny Greenwood play with a Casiotone keyboard all day long. Just love him to death.
