I had the Lonesome Jubilee on cassette and I really like it. "Paper in Fire" is one of the better lead off tunes of that time. Gets it going. Hard to imagine that "Kick" was panned by the executives. Although I guess not that surprising. It's really amazing they still ask "businessmen" to assess artitistic output. "Yeah, this record wasn't made for you, it's for everyone else and they're gonna love it making you seem like exactly who you are." And then they roll the Rolls into the luncheon two months later blasting "Need You Tonight". When they get out and give their keys to the valet they might say, "I signed this band". Ohh irony.
