I don't play them that often but it's important for my kids to see and know that music once lived on a vinyl disc. And every Father's day is go down to that ancient looking store and get Daddy an oversized music "album". I don't hold onto the past as it the future can't provide something just as cool. But I do grieve the fact that my kids won't be able to go to the record store with their allowance to hang out (with real people!), dream and bring something tangible home. Oh well.
