Grunge was all encompassing and there was plenty of it once the wave crashed. I think that might be why things like this stick out in my memory. I kind of treat these "Stand Out Singles" like the things that happened outside of what was clearly the defining genre of the decade. Cause it's a bit misleading to think that Grunge as all there was.
