Easily my favorite all time author. Great write up and can't wait to watch to the doc. I struggle with finding my favorite book amongst the many. But I often land on "Breakfast of Champions". I think the moment when he seems to release Kilgore Trout and set him free is one of the funnier touching moments in literature. And it was hard earned. If you read all the other books before it you realize that that move was a realization of needed justice and compassion. You get the sense that Vonnegut could be a lot of things but he also yearned to be kind when he didn't have to be.
